Adrenal Gland is an organ that produces various hormones including Cortisol and DHEA (Dehydroepiandrosterone) which are stress hormones. The adrenal gland releases cortisol when under stress to regulate the body. If the body is exposed to stressful situations often, the adrenal gland would continue to produce cortisol, causing adrenal fatigue symptoms

- Do not wake up early
- Tired and lumpy. Often nap during the day
- Feel more fresh during the night
- Can not fall asleep
- More energetic when having sweets\
- Like salty food more than the usual
- Stressful and not enjoy life
- Mood swing
- Gain weight
The treatment is mainly behavior change to properly regulate the body against stress
- Sleep at least 6 hours a day
- Have breakfast before 10 am (Cortisol will decrease after 10 am. Making the body more tiresome).
- Have many small meals instead of one big meal
- Moderate exercise. Too much exercising can cause the adrenal gland to work harder.
- Find suitable way to relieve stress such as Yoga, hobby or traveling
- Supplements and some herbs might help with the symptoms, including L-theanine (green tea extract), Vitamin C, B3, B5, B6
