Benefits and Protections for Section 33 Insured Persons:
- In case of illness: Medical treatment at hospitals or healthcare facilities under the entitlement without having to pay when contributing for no less than 3 months within 15 months before seeking treatment.
- In case of childbirth: When contributing for no less than 5 months within 15 months before the childbirth date, eligible individuals receive a lump-sum maternity benefit of 15,000 Baht per childbirth (with no limit on the number of childbirths) along with pregnancy check-ups based on the gestational age.
- In case of disability: Section 33 insured persons who have contributed for 3 months within 15 months before the month of disability are entitled to compensation for income loss.
- In case of death: Section 33 insured persons who have contributed for 1 month within 6 months before their demise are entitled to funeral expenses and survivor benefits.
- In case of child support: When contributing for no less than 12 months within 36 months before applying, eligible individuals receive compensation.
- In case of old age: Eligible individuals are entitled to an old-age pension or retirement pension according to the conditions of the contribution.
- In case of unemployment: Insured persons receive compensation for unemployment when contributing for no less than 6 months within 15 months before unemployment occurs."
