Over 3 months of SSF contributions: Healthcare benefits

• Free dental treatment (scaling, filling, tooth extraction, wisdom tooth extraction) with the coverage limit of THB 900 per year.
• Free annual health check-up
• Covered medical expenses

1. Health conditions or accidents due to consumption of drugs defined in the Narcotic Drugs Act
2. Renal replacement therapy for chronic kidney disease, except end-stage renal disease for which patients are eligible to receive hemodialysis, continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis, and kidney transplant according to the specified terms and conditions
3. Treatment undergone purely for cosmetic reasons
4. Unproven or experimental treatment
5. Infertility treatment
6. Biopsy for organ donation, except biopsy for organ or bone marrow transplant which shall be subject to the terms and conditions specified by the Medical Committee
7. Any examinations or medical services that are not medically necessary or exceed the usual level of expenses for the same medical treatment
8. Organ transplants except
   1. (a) Bone marrow transplant for which a lump sum payment of THB 750,000 or THB 1,300,000 per patient, depending on the case, will be paid to the hospital that provides treatment to the insured, provided that such hospital has been approved by the Medical Committee and has entered into an agreement with the Social Security Office to provide treatment to the insured according to the specified terms and conditions
   2. (b) Corneal transplant for which a lump sum payment of THB 35,000 will be paid to the hospital and THB 15,000 will be paid to the Thai Red Cross Eye Bank according to the specified terms and conditions
   3. (c) Liver transplant, lung transplant, heart transplant, pancreas transplant, and multi-organ transplant.

11. Any expenses in connection with patient recovery
12. Dental treatment, except tooth extraction, filling, scaling, and wisdom tooth extraction—of which the costs are covered by the social security program but not exceeding THB 900 per year. The cost of removable prosthodontics is also covered by the social security program but not exceeding THB 1,300–4,400 within a 5-year period.

Over 5 months of SSF contributions : Maternity benefits

• The insured is entitled to receive a lump sum allowance for childbirth in the amount of THB 15,500 per child.
• The insured is entitled to receive coverage for a total of 5 prenatal care visits but not exceeding THB 1,500.
• The insured is entitled to receive an allowance for maternity leave in the amount of 50% of average salary for a period of 90 days.

Over 12 months of SSF contributions : Child support benefits

• The insured is entitled to receive child support allowance, provided that the child is legitimate.
• Allowance is provided for a child aged anywhere from birth to 6 years old, for a period of 90 days.
• The insured is entitled to receive a monthly allowance of THB 800 per child.

Over 3 months of SSF contributions : Non-occupational disability benefits

• In the event of severe disability, the insured is entitled to receive supplemental security income in the amount of 50% of monthly salary throughout the lifetime.
• In the event of moderate disability, the insured is entitled to receive supplementary security income according to the criteria and conditions specified by the Social Security Office.

Over 6 months of SSF contributions : Unemployment benefits

• The insured is required to register as an unemployed person via internet and update the employment status online, once a month.
• In the event of dismissal, the insured is entitled to receive unemployment compensation in the amount of 50% of average salary for a period not exceeding 180 days per year.
• In the event of resignation or expiration of the term of employment, the insured is entitled to receive unemployment compensation in the amount of 30% of average salary for a period not exceeding 90 days per year.

Over 1 month of SSF contributions : Death benefits

• A funeral grant of THB 50,000 will be paid to a funeral director.

Compensation Fund

• Coverage for actual medical expenses incurred but not exceeding THB 50,000 per time.
• In the event of severe injuries or chronic illnesses, an extra expense coverage of THB 500,000 will be provided with a limit of THB 1,000,000 for a private hospital
• THB 2,000,000 for a public hospital, according to the Medical Committee’s decision.
